Sunday 19 September 2021 was for us a great day! Every Sunday is important, but this one was special because 2 people were baptised! And it wasn't "just" a baptism service, but it was our very first baptism service, one year after the planting of our new church, La Parola Vera! 

Katiuscia and Vincenzo are attending our church for a few months. They used to go to another church about 20 km away from them, but when they heard of us opening near their home, they chose to join us. She had already given her life to Jesus, but the husband not. Ironically, he was the one telling her about Jesus, as he grew in a Christian family, but had never committed his life to the Lord. 

One of the first things she asked me was to be baptised (I had known them in my previous Church) so I went to their home for the baptism course and Vincenzo was there. That day I confronted him with the urgency of the Gospel and he decided for Jesus repenting of his sins. What an emotion!

Yesterday they were together, husband and wife, in a little inflatable pool, testifying of their new life in Christ and joining the Church of Jesus, praise God! The hall was packed with about 30 people and it was a day of great celebration!
