10th Anniversary Christ Worship Centre
 
Lamentations 3:22-23
“Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness”.

A great text that for us as a Christ Worship Centre is far from a lament. For us, it is a hymn to the great favour, mercy, and faithfulness of God to us as a church.

In January 2011, Christ Worship Centre officially became a Denomination. God led us to plant a new church in Amsterdam North with an International character. We started with house meetings, later we held a number of Celebrations in two NH Hotels. God opened a door to rent an upper space of a commercial building on the Witbolstraat in Amsterdam North.

We acted in faith at the time because we did not have sufficient finances for the rent. And….. God has noticed our faith and miraculously provided. During an evening prayer meeting, God spoke very clearly that Christ Worship Centre will be a church that will live and act by faith. And this still runs like a thread through the vision of our church.

We were given the opportunity to move from the upstairs room to the space on the ground floor because the garage that rented it was moving. And again, we have taken this step-in faith and God has not only provided the rent but also all the costs for converting a garage into a real church.
 
Recently a way opened up to rent the office building which is located behind the church hall. And…. We walk by faith and not by sight.
Sunday August 29th We officially opened the office and dedicated it to God.
God of Miracles (God of Miracles)!

On Sunday 10 October we can finally celebrate our 10th anniversary together. Due to all the Corona measures, we have had to postpone this all the time. But…. now it was finally time! Pastors Jacob Wubs spoke on behalf of Ministers Fellowship Global and Pastor Johan Selier (Parousia municipality Gouda) as a friend.
