REGIONAL DAY
On Saturday 25th June 2022 the UK MFG Church Leaders met together at Whittlesey Christian Church, near Peterborough. With members from eleven MFG churches from across the UK booked in and people travelling from the North and South of the UK and some visitors as well, we filled every seat available! There was such a pleasant atmosphere and plenty of time given for us to catch up and hear each other's news.

The theme of our day was 'Clarity in a Confused World' and we heard three timely messages on this subject. First we heard from our Chairman Colin Cooper, then from Samuele Aru from London, and lastly Mary Lunt from Manchester - within the messages we heard how to claim the truth of the Word and to live in it; we were encouraged to build with prayer and to be known within our communities as praying churches; and to stand up in our nation for God's truth amidst this confused generation.

We were hosted so wonderfully by the team from Whittlesey Christian Church, they transformed their children's work cabins to hold a fantastic feast of delicious food for us all to enjoy. We even had a visit from a local reporter Robert Windle, who came to take photos and to write an article for some local magazines, our visit to the community of Whittlesey was big news!

We were also blessed on the day to have Gioele from Italy, and to be able to set him in as a member in person, along with Richard Bibby who is the new pastor at Whittlesey. It was a great way to celebrate our motto 'Why walk alone, when we can walk together'.

We had an awesome day, worshipping together, laughing together and being equipped and refreshed by the teachings and by the fellowship. We are looking forward to our next meeting together in November in Wellingborough.
