On Saturday 19th November we gathered together for the UK MFG Regional Day. We were so excited to hold the event at Compass Church in Wellingborough. This was the first time to welcome our MFG family into our new building, so we spent many weeks before decorating and getting it ready. The Compass Church volunteers were also very excited to be able to host MFG leaders for the very first time too, their first experience of a regional day!

Many church pastors and leaders joined us for the day, and also many visitors, so it was good to have plenty of time to chat and catch up, and hear everybody's news. We were blessed to have a wonderful worship team from Living Christian Church (Samuele & Grazia Aru's Church). They led us for both the morning and afternoon session, as well as bringing a beautiful ministry song. We were elevated to heavenly heights right from the first note played. How beautiful it was to sing in unity and to worship our great and faithful God together.

Our main speaker was Marius Ciocan from Vertical Church in Timisoara, Romania. We were so blessed to have Marius and his wife Georgiana join us for the weekend and so thankful that Covid restrictions on international travel are behind us so that we could enjoy time with friends from the wider MFG family. Both Marius and Georgiana shared testimony of how they felt at home and how God had blessed them with their time in the UK with other MFG leaders. They are both looking forward to the MFG Annual Conference coming up in May 2023 when we can all be together.
The breakout sessions were led by Samuele Corciulo who is the pastor of The Harvest Centre, Brandon and the other session led by Val Stroud, who of course used to lead The Harvest Centre with her husband Ken. Both sessions were packed out and we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere around the tables listening to the speakers.
The theme of the day was 'The Church: God's Delight' and all of the speakers spoke on this theme as they felt led, It was good to remember how God treasures and protects His Church and how we are also called to love and serve the Church.

There was good food and of course lots of laughter, It was a good time to refresh our spirits and to look forward to the seasons ahead.
For now we send you our love, and we encourage you to come and join us in the UK in May for the Annual conference - booking is open now on the App and on the MFG website.
