Ecclesiastes 3:1 “To everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven”. The important thing is for us to know the times and seasons we are in and to respond accordingly.
On September 4th and 5th for Val and I a season ended. We had the joy of handing the pastorate of the Harvest Centre to a young couple – Samuele and Ana Corciulo. Our joy is knowing the work will go on and grow under their leadership and care. Val and I will continue to be part of the leadership of this precious community of people.
We pioneered the church 31 years ago with two other families and through the years God’s faithfulness has been lavished upon us. Truly, again and again “His grace has been sufficient”. Looking back over these years how would we summarise them? The word that instantly comes to mind is AMAZING.
Through the sunshine, through the rain, through the joy and through the pain God is, and God has been good. Psalm 115:1 “Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but to Your Name give glory, because of Your mercy, because of Your truth”.
So what’s next for us in this amazing adventure in faith? We don’t know what the future holds, but we know Who holds the future, and for us that’s enough! One thing we know is that we belong to the great family of MFG and we are assured of your love and support.
